The short version
- No name, no email address, no account, no cookies, no IP address, no analytics script, no ads, no third-party code.
- Your answers are stored anonymously to test and improve Poilia.
- We never sell or share individual answers.
What we store when you take the test
Nothing about your answers leaves your browser until you reach your result. From then on we store: which answer you picked for each scenario, where it was on the screen, and how long you took; your result; which of the descriptions you picked when asked to compare them; your rating of the result; how many times you switched away from the page during the test; and, only if you answer them, the short questions about your work (role, how often you use AI, team size, industry). We also store the date and time, the two-letter country our network provider reports for the connection, and whether the request looked like it came from a browser or a script.
All of this is tied together by a random code your browser makes up when you open the page. The code lives only in that tab: it is not stored in a cookie or in your browser’s storage, and it cannot be linked to you.
While you move through the page, it also sends short counters with no content (for example “someone reached question 5” or “someone pressed Copy link”), so we can see where people stop. Those carry only the path and the date.
Share links
A share link contains your type and a random code. If someone takes the test from your link, their record includes that code, so we can count how many people a share brings in. The code says nothing about who you are.
Research participants
If you come from a research panel such as Prolific, the link carries your panel ID. The page removes it from the address bar and we never store it.
Who processes it
The site and its storage run on Cloudflare. Like every network provider, Cloudflare sees your connection, including your IP address, to deliver the page; we do not store it.
How long we keep it
Individual records are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example “30% of participants got Builder as their first type”) may be kept and published.
Your choices
Because we do not know who you are, we cannot look up your answers later to show or delete them. If you do not want anything stored, close the page before your result appears. Poilia is not meant for children under 16.
